ARIEL LAHMI

Ariel Lahmi is the founder, CEO, and Chairman of Beekman REIM, an international real estate investment and property management company with offices in New York City, Paris and Chennai. Mr. Lahmi has more than 30 years of real estate investing and development experience and a background in accounting.
Since 2009, Mr. Lahmi has invested in New York, Florida, France, and India in office building, multi-family, and condo-conversion projects with strong results. Prior to founding Beekman REIM, Mr. Lahmi successfully established a portfolio management company with divisions in insurance brokerage, financial investments, banking intermediation, and real estate development. In 1998, Mr. Lahmi founded Concerto Development Group, the first logistics developer company in France. In 2001, Concerto Development merged with Affine REIT, a commercial REIT listed on the NYSE Euronext, of which Mr. Lahmi is a member of the board of Directors and the company’s largest shareholder.
Mr. Lahmi is a graduate of the University of Paris with a degree in accounting and auditing, and a master's in finance. He also founded the Chair for Real Estate Management at Netanya University in Israel.
A US citizen, Mr. Lahmi lives in New York City with his wife and family, where he is also a board member of the French Institute Alliance Francaise.
SONIA RICORD
Chief Operating Officer - COO
As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Sonia works to expand the company’s global business activities. Her responsibilities include overseeing acquisition, asset management, leasing, human resources, development and construction, as well as marketing and property management in major markets including USA, Europe and Asia.
Ms. Ricord’s career started in 2002 at Affine REIT she was in charge with organizing the interfacing between the Chairman, investors, and tenants. In 2005, Ms. Ricord moved to Concerto Development (Paris), a European leader in warehouse development, to take the head of the Project management division. In 2009, Ms. Ricord moved to Chennai, India at Vision India Real Estate where she developed 2500 apartments during her 3 years there. She came back to France and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2012. Ms. Ricord develop a strong leadership and operation skills during her time in India and Paris.
In 2016, she moved to New York, a place that enabled her to attract a team of experienced and dedicated professionals to Beekman Reim and help grow the company into a full-service real estate firm with offices in New York and Paris.
Ms. Ricord has a BA in Real Estate and a master's in Real Estate from the University of Paris La Sorbonne. She is an active member of different France/New York organizations.
PHILIPPE MANGEL
CEO Europe
Mr. Mangel is co-founder of Beekman REIM. He has been in charge of the European team since Feb. 2011.
Mr. Mangel has more than 17 years of experience in the development and management of real estate projects.
After leaving the financial division of AXA Insurance Company (formerly UAP) in 1994, Mr. Mangel successfully founded and managed European Life Insurance, an insurance brokerage company specializing in asset management for institutional clients, as well as Hampstead Consultants, an inter-mediation company specializing in project development and financing real estate. In 1998, Mr. Mangel joined Concerto Development as a partner and manager, a leading logistics real estate development company in France. In 2001, Concerto Development has joined forces with Affine, SIIC and a credit institution listed on NYSE Euronext, of which Mr. Mangel was also in charge of the insurance division. Until the end of 2010, Mr. Mangel participated in the development of Concerto Development as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the company, and member of its Executive Committee alongside Affine.
DAN LAHMI
Director of Acquisitions
Dan Lahmi is the Director of Acquisitions at Beekman REIM. In this role, he oversees the leasing process of the company’s office and residential properties. Prior to joining Beekman, Dan was a Senior Associate at Beachwold Residential, a multi-family investment firm. During his tenure, he assisted the firm’s acquisition efforts by underwriting investment opportunities, putting together due diligence material and preparing investors’ presentations. Prior to joining Beachwold, Dan worked as an Asset Management Analyst at Gaia Real Estate, where he analyzed the financial and operational performance of its properties.
Dan received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Brandeis University (MA) and an M.S. in Real Estate from NYU's Schack Institute.
